January Intro to Wheel Throwing: Beginner Series Pt. 2
This class meets Tuesday evening on the following dates
Workshop Dates: 1/7, 1/14, & 1/21
In this workshop, we will have more practice with centering and pulling up walls of your wheel thrown vessels. Focusing more on producing mug and bud vase forms.
Week One: Introduction & Centering Refresher
Week Two: Review & Throwing Time
Week Three: Trimming & Details
This Workshop Includes:
3 (2 hour long) Classes: (PLEASE NOTE: If you cannot make these dates, please do not sign up for classes. There is limited availability. If you miss a session, you can only make up that session on a future date by paying a $45 studio fee.)
Clay Provided for 6-8 creations
Use of Wheel and Tools
You will choose glaze colors for pieces at last session which will be glazed for you by instructor to pick up within 3-4 weeks.Please wait for text message regarding pick up from instructor.
PLEASE NOTE: if you would like to glaze your pieces, $20 glaze fee will be added in person and we will choose a date for you to come back and glaze.
You MUST be at least 12 years old for this workshop.
Please make sure to sign your piece prior to the end of the workshop. Rooted Beauty Arts LLC is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and claimed by another attendee.
Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Please note that pieces can crack or fall apart due to lack of technique following.
All classes at Rooted Beauty Pottery are beginner level. We do not strive for perfection in this studio, but more to the enjoy the experience and try something new. Enjoy your pieces, you are making memories!
Due to limited seating, we CANNOT refund cancellations or no shows. You will receive a future class credit IF you cancel within 72 hours of workshop date.
